A coach has many roles…… a guide, strategist, mentor, dreamer, consultant. Asking powerful, thoughtful and challenging questions, a coach keeps you moving toward your goals. All information you share is kept strictly confidential, allowing you to be open and specific in providing the critical information necessary to reach your goals. A coach provides:
a listening ear
an objective perspective
encouragement
"reality checks"
a nudge (sometimes a big one) to move forward
accountability that keeps you focused and on target

HOW DOES COACHING WORK?
Coaching is done primarily over the phone at pre-arranged times, so it doesn’t matter where you live or work. Calls are usually 3 to 4 times a month and last 30-45 minutes. Each call focuses on the areas where you want to create change. Frequent emails and quick calls between appointments are offered at no additional cost. In-person coaching is also available. Recognizing we each have unique situations, coaching is creatively customized to meet your needs.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?
"Therapy is looking through the rearview mirror at life (the past), and coaching is looking through the windshield at where you want to go," states Judy Rosemarin, New York University. Coaching is not therapy but instead starts with where you are now and guides you to where you want to go, at the pace you choose. Understanding that the past does influence your future, sometimes coaching glances in the "rearview mirror", but you don’t get stuck there.

WHAT ARE THE CLIENT COMMITMENTS?
Research shows that creating new habits and making lasting change, takes commitment. Creating the time and space in your life to fully engage in the coaching process, supports your success. Coaching is offered in 3-month increments. Agreed upon homework that moves you toward your goals is completed between calls. Fees begin at $300 a month and vary according to individual needs. Coaching is a confidential, cost-effective way to gain the momentum you need to create the life you really want.
